Sri Lankan Youth of America is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to amplifying Sri Lankan voices and empowering the next generation of Sri Lankan Americans. We foster community and connection among members, conduct interviews with Sri Lankan Americans to ensure authentic representation, and create opportunities for giving back to the community.
Our Mission
At SLYA, our ultimate goal is to empower Sri Lankan Americans by amplifying Sri Lankan voices and promoting cultural understanding.We strive to create spaces where Sri Lankan American youth, an often marginalized and underrepresented community can feel heard and authentically represented.
